eLearning Day Primary Election Day

Scottsburg High School will operate on an eLearning day schedule for May 3 due to the Elections. eLearning Days are not days off; students are expected to do school from home. Our teachers will conduct class via a Google Meet. Each teacher has his/her Google Meet information at the top of the class Canvas page.

Teachers will be recording attendance on eLearning days. To be counted present for each class, students must attend Google Meets for each class or complete assignments in Canvas scheduled that day by the teacher.

Canvas Assignments
Students must complete assignments in Canvas; attending Google Meets does not get the student out of completing work. Grades must still be earned for course credit. Assignments must be completed by 3 p.m. the following day.

There will be no Prosser bus on May 3 since Prosser is operating on an eLearning schedule.  Prosser students, please follow your eLearning plan for May 3.

Power Hour

Our after-school academic support time at Scottsburg High School will begin on Monday, August 16th.  Students need to bring math, English, or digital assignments to complete.  If students are struggling with a Khan academy concept, are wanting papers proofread, are needing help preparing for a test, or are needing to use the production suite for a group project, this is a great time for them to work.  Students may work in quiet, productive groups.

The media center will be open after school, and the teachers will arrive at 3:15 p.m. to begin helping.  The session ends at 4:15 p.m.  Students should be picked up from the front sidewalk at SHS.

If a student needs transportation, we have a form for the parent to complete.  The request must be made 24 hours in advance.

We will have a student attendance sign-in sheet.  We will be offering HERO points for productive students.
