Yearbook & Newspaper

Totem Staff 2019
 

Yearbook and Newspaper are curricular-based clubs at SHS. Students must complete the Journalism/Photojournalism class in order to be considered for members. The Booster, the SHS student newspaper, produces nine issues and maintains theboosteronline. The Totem, the SHS yearbook, covers the entire calendar year of student life to produce the all-color edition of the yearbook each year. Both publications are regularly finalists for top newspaper and yearbook awards in the state and students have won numerous awards from the Southeastern Indiana Student Press Association and the Indiana High School Press Association.
