SHS recently has 96 students take the citizenship exam and 91 passed for a passing rate of 95%.  Congratulations to all of our passing students.

Power Hour

Students who attend will receive support for their academic goals. We assist students in mastering new skills, refreshing old skills, preparing for tests, working on papers, and completing digital projects. Transportation is available, but students must complete the reservation form (in the SHS IMPACT Canvas course) by noon each day in order to be placed on the bus route.

Students may earn Power Points during each session. Power Points may be redeemed for prizes at the end of the week. Our Power Points reward the following school values:

  • GROWTH-completing challenging work
  • SAFETY-wearing a lanyard and following rules
  • WORTH-showing kindness and respect to others

If you have questions, please contact Shawna Slaton (sslaton@scsd2.k12.in.us or 752-8927).
