Greetings from your SHS Alumni Association,​

Scholarship money is more important than ever for worthy high school graduates. The Alumni Association has been taking steps to ensure that we can continue to provide scholarship help for SHS graduates long into the future.

We have established an endowment fund with the Scott County Community Foundation to allow donors to contribute directly to a scholarship fund where their donations will be invested and allowed to grow for future use.   If you, or members of your class, would like to donate to this fund, you may do so directly by check made out to the Scott County Community Foundation and designated for the SHS Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, or by online payment at www.scottcountyfoundation.org.

Of course, this fund is a long-term project and we will still need to provide scholarships from our operating fund while the endowment fund grows. If you would like to donate to the Alumni Association’s operating fund or specific scholarships, you may send checks to SHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 161, Scottsburg, IN 47170 at any time. ALL donations are now tax-deductible, since the Alumni Association has received our 501(c)3 tax-exempt status.
